Up-To-Date: The first step toward maximizing your software investment

Upgrading and staying up-to-date with software is probably the first and most impactful step any CAD or IT Manager can take to maximize the efficiency of a company investment in Autodesk. Newer versions of software tend to be more stable and new capabilities are generally added in every upgrade. We understand that there are significant efforts involved in every upgrade. That's why this year we prepared a full curriculum focused on making your preparation easier, quicker and with fewer risks involved. Below we cover key points to consider when upgrading and the steps to take once you make your decision.
Should I upgrade?
The first question is always, "Should we upgrade this year or not?" To help you make an informed decision we created Up-To-Date, an on-demand webinar series with AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault product management teams. The main goal of this series is to help you understand what's new in the 2019 releases of these products and what the focus areas are for the future of these solutions. In addition, we are updating last year's one-page documents for Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD with the information on when we released specific functionalities so that you can easily understand what you get by upgrading from any particular version. If you use Vault and are planning to upgrade, it's best to start by researching available documentation here. In any case, I strongly recommend you involve your Customer Success Manager or Designated Support Specialist as early as possible.
